XClin EPR
The XClin Electronic Patient Record and Client Record system (XClin EPR / ECR) is based on the proven XClin Trials for clinical studies. Therefore the system has functionalities for fast and validated data entry and powerful tracking and logging facilities. XClin can be used both in a clinical as transmural environment. To use all of its capacities XClin EPR is best used for medical care with a multi disciplinary character. Than all medical experts have access to the same data, but with different rights. Examples of places where XClin EPR can be used are: domiciliary care, geriatrics, diabetes and rheumatology.

XClin EPR / ECR is optimized for shared care; XClin offers medical specialists, nurses and other medical practitioners functionality, to efficient consult each other about patients or clients. XClin EPR is designed ergonomically such that users can direct use the software without hours of training. By using status indicators on fields and sections, NovaXon created an intuitive and ergonomic interface.

For each organization XClin will be custom made for every department or medical discipline. By using standard building blocks, development and implementation of new EPR's or ECR's can be done very fast. During the development phase the current clinical process will be investigated and optimized. XClin EPR / ECR makes it possible to have a flexible clinical path.

The department of transmural care of the Maastricht hospital is a special department where medical specialists and nurses visit the patients also outside the hospital.
